Chicken Licken Hotwings

Chicken Licken Hotwings are known to have an irresistible effect on people, called ‘The Craving’. Fans joined African Space Aeronautics Programme (ASAP), and followed the epic journey to deliver a precious cargo of Hotwings to the Afronaut Space Station. But along the way, the Hotwings went missing! And users could visit the microsite to see who stole them.

Social media

Social media drummed up interest, creating awareness and intrigue about the campaign even before it was launched. During the campaign, social posts invited users to engage with the conspiracy of who took the Hotwings.

The website

Digital content drove viewers to the microsite, where they were able to walk through every facet of the film — following each individual character’s story. It also contained hidden elements in the interface to find where even you became a prime suspect in the case.

The responsive design

The responsive deisgn allowed users to interact with the website on any device, and specially-optimised video files made sure that no matter what it never broke the bank with data costs.
